We have really enjoyed learning with Maite and the Spanish Language Institute. She has been very flexible with our schedule, and offers classes through zoom which has allowed us to do long distance learning. She is always prepared and has even personalized classes for us based on specific needs or events coming up. We have had classes about doctor visits before an appointment, and many other specific classes that have helped so much navigating life in a different language and culture.

I would highly recommend that anyone interested in learning Spanish take classes here. They can teach beginners, offer review lessons as a refresher course, or even help those wanting to speak at a more advanced level.

I took Spanish lessons with Maite for two weeks while doing an internship in La Paz. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kind and perfectly matched the Spanish with my level teaching me in English and Spanish making more of the lesson in Spanish each time as my ability grew.
